MORNING PRAYER
Lord Jesus, as I begin this new day, I seek your strength to face its challenges. Guide my decisions, bless my efforts and keep me steadfast in faith. When I feel weak, remind me that your power is made perfect in my weakness. Lead me on the right path and help me to be a vessel of your love to others. Amen.
EVENING PRAYER
Lord I thank you for the blessings of this day and for your loving care. As I rest tonight, I ask for your peace to surround me and my loved ones. Help us to trust in your protection and wake renewed, ready to serve you. As I prepare for sleep, relieve the worries of my heart. Grant me peace throughout the night and may you bring me safely to a new day. In Jesus name. Amen.
Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite myself wholly to you now and forever. Amen.
Prayer to Our Lady of Knock. Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering his promise, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find.” Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death. Amen.
