17 May 2020 – The Churches of our Parish will reopen from Monday next for people to visit for private prayer. We ask people who visit the Church to follow the signs that have been put in place re sanitizing of hands, social distancing and keeping the touching of hard surfaces to a minimum. If you wish to light a candle at the shrines please light your candle from a candle that is already lighting or bring you own lighter or matches, or just place your candle in the shrine and we will light it later. In the interest of all our health and well being we ask you to follow these guidelines. Let us pray for each other and for protection from Covid-19.

Letter from Bishop Crean  about Reopening Churches.  Opening our Churches

Some people have been asking about mass intentions and anniversaries, and as it looks likely that we will not be returning to gatherings in our churches anytime soon, Fr Pat will offer masses for intentions and people can join the celebration on the live streaming from the Parish of Cloyne facebook page.

Let us pray to Our Lady that we will all keep safe in these difficult times.

My Jesus,

I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.

I love you above all things and I passionately desire to receive
you into my soul.

Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,

come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite

myself wholly to you now and forever.
