SHORT PRAYER AT THE BEGINNING OF LENT Lord, when I feel overwhelmed, help me remember that You carry my burdens. Fill me with Your peace and strength. Your Word declares, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom, shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). Protect my heart and mind. Empower me to remain faithful.
